Overview

Bhutan is unlike anywhere else in the world. Tucked away in the Eastern Himalayas, this small Buddhist kingdom has preserved its traditions, culture, and natural beauty in a way few destinations have.
Reaching Bhutan is part of the adventure. Due to its remote location and limited international connections, direct flights to Paro are only available from a small number of countries. The most convenient route is via Delhi, India, which is the option our journey is based on. You may also choose to connect through Thailand if preferred (ask us for details).
The trip begins with a flight to Delhi and an overnight stay before continuing to Paro the following day. At the end of the Bhutan experience, we return to Delhi for one final overnight stay before flying back home.
Once in Bhutan, we begin in the capital city of Thimphu, where traditional Bhutanese culture meets gentle modern life. Here, we explore important landmarks including Tashichho Dzong, Buddha Point, the National Memorial Chorten, and local craft markets. The journey then continues across the spectacular Dochula Pass, surrounded by Himalayan views and iconic chortens, before arriving in the lush valley of Punakha, home to Bhutan’s most beautiful fortress and scenic riverside landscapes.
The final part of the journey is spent in the beautiful Paro Valley, where we visit some of Bhutan’s most sacred and historic sites. Highlights include the legendary Tiger’s Nest Monastery, dramatically perched on a cliffside high above the valley, the ancient Kyichu Lhakhang temple, the National Museum, and the magnificent Rinpung Dzong. Throughout the trip, travelers will experience Bhutan’s unique blend of spirituality, breathtaking scenery, and warm hospitality, making it one of the most memorable destinations on earth.
